Method for operating a wind turbine (1) comprising at least one control surface trailing edge of at least one rotor blade (5), comprising operating the wind turbine in a first mode, in which an angle attack rotor blade (a) and a deflection control surface trailing edge (10) are set according to one or more control parameters of wind turbine, and characterized by operating selectively wind turbine in a second mode reduced noise, wherein for a set of parameters of wind turbine control since the deflection control surface trailing edge (10) increases towards the pressure side and the angle of attack of rotor blade decreases with respect to the first mode.
