A digital modulation recognition method

A method using a specific signal envelope feature, J, is proposed for the modulation recognition of ASK, QAM, PSK, and FSK signals. The advantages of this method lie in its computational simplicity, no need for prior-knowledge of the signal to be recognized, and good noise suppression capability. Simulation results demonstrated the efficiency of this method.
