Performance analysis of discrete whole-spacecraft vibration isolation platforms for flexible spacecrafts

Based on flexible spacecrafts, the isolation performance of whole-spacecraft vibration isolators is studied in this paper. A new type of discrete whole-spacecraft vibration isolation platforms is used and the dynamical equations of the systems are established. The transmissibility from the bottom of the isolator to some key points on the flexible spacecraft is computed. The isolation performance of the vibration isolation coupling systems for the flexible spacecraft is analyzed by complex modal method and investigated by vibration table experiment. The analysis results and the testing data show that the discrete whole-spacecraft vibration isolation platforms have good isolation performance in wide frequency range to lateral and longitudinal vibration, and the vibration isolation platforms can be applied to actual flexible spacecrafts.
