Challenges and Countermeasures of Security Analysis in the Mid Long Term Development of Qinghai Power Grid

With the large-scale access of renewable energy, the current security analysis of the power grid lacks of the consideration of the grid structure and overall characteristics. The factors involved in the security analysis of power grid planning have increased substantially. Meanwhile, numerous computations are faced in the mid long term simulation. In this study, the Qinghai power grid is taken as the simulation object. The changes in the structure and characteristics of the power grid after large-scale access to renewable energy are systematically researched. The main challenges of security analysis are discussed and the relevant countermeasures are also put forward.
