The pyroelectric detecting device of the human body in motion comprises a signal processing unit and three pyroelectric sensors which are installed in a circle. According to the detecting method, through twice detection of a TTL signal of the pyroelectric sensor, the determination of an alarm state direction is carried out, and a report is sent to a host computer. According to the pyroelectric sensor, the pyroelectric detecting device and the detecting method, a detecting distance is long, the 360-degree detection without a blind area can be carried out, the rate of false alarm and missed alarm is low, and the sensor, the device and the method are suitable for a mobile security robot.
