Eyes Extraction Using Gray And Wavelet Transform

Human face detection is important in nowadays,which is the first step in applications such as video surveillance,human computer interface and face recognition.How to extract eyes exactly is the key processes in face detection.This paper puts forward a arithmetic for extracting eyes,which based on the grayscale image and wavelet transform.The experiment shows that the arithmetic has a high rate of detection,which is adapted to human face detection in the case of complicated backgrounds.
