Characterization of a Catalytically Active Molybdenum Oxycarbide

A very active and selective molybdenum based catalyst for C 6 + linear alkanes isomerization as been found. Physical characterization of this new active phase, such as XPS, XRD, MASN-MR and HRTEM is described.
