Synchronization of a class of chaotic systems using adaptive variable structure observer

A method based on adaptive sliding mode variable structure observer is presented for synchronization and control of a class of chaotic systems with uncertainties.The approach is not only more robust to noise and parameter mismatch in the error dynamics,but also does not need the upper bound of the uncertainty in advance or the inertial filter.Theoretical analysis and simulation results prove the effectiveness of the method.
