Surface Spin Waves in Metamagnets with Nonuniaxial Single-Ion Anisotropy

A microscopic theory is employed to investigate the spin wave spectra in metamagnetic materials that consist of ferromagnetically ordered layers, with the intralayer ferromagnetic exchange interactions being much stronger than the weak antiferromagnetic interaction between adjacent layers.
