Complexes of 2,4-Dinitrosoresorcinol-6-sulfonate and 1-Hydroxy-2-nitroso-3,6-disulfonate Naphthalene with Iron, Cobalt, Nickel and Copper Salts

Abstract The reactions of the bidentate chelating ligands 2,4-dinitrosoresorcinol-6-sulfonate(DNRS) and 1-hydroxy-3,6-disulfonate naphthalene (NRS) with iron(II), cobalt (II), nickel(II) and copper(II) salts were investigated. Analytical, magnetic and spectral data were used to characterize the reaction products.
