A method for selecting a transmitting terminal and a main terminal, which are applied to a scenario in which at least three terminals exist. The method comprises: a main terminal sends a baseband signal to each secondary terminal through a wireless device; the main terminal receives feedback information returned by each secondary terminal; and the main terminal selects an optimal secondary terminal as a transmitting terminal according to the feedback information. By means of the solution of the present invention, the problem that a terminal causes harm to the human head due to high radiation intensity is solved; an optimal secondary terminal is selected and used, so that electromagnetic radiation caused to the human head by radio waves emitted during a call is reduced.
