Application of higher order spectral slices analysis for magnetorheological Damping system

A MR Damping semi-active control system is built, bispectrum and trispectrum of the MRD system are calculated and analized. Slices of bispectrum and trispectrum are utilized to analyze the dynamic characteristics of system. The influences of control currents to the performance of the MR Damper are discussed, dynamic characteristics of the system at different coupling frequency are presented by 1-dimensional and 2 1/2 dimensional slices of trispectrum. The influence of MRF and construction of MR damper are studied. Trispectral slices for different proportioning of MRF and two type of MR Damper are compared, a damper has wavy surface piston is proved more effective. It is demonstrated that the slices of higher order spectrums are effectively for recognition and description of nonlinear systems.
