Two‐ and 3‐Dimensional Sonographic Diagnosis of a Vesicorectal Fistula in Cloacal Dysgenesis Sequence

Here, we report a case in which the diagnosis of a vesicorectal fistula was made with both 2-dimensional (2D) and 3-dimensional (3D) sonography. A review of the literature regarding the sonographic diagnosis of this anomaly found no previously reported cases in which such a discovery was made with sonography, leading to a working diagnosis of cloacal dysgenesis sequence (CDS), and confirmed on postmortem examination of the fetus.
