Clinical biostatistics

Clinical investigators who undertake the study of mechanisms of biology and human disease usually begin to read the appropriate non‐medical journals. Among such publications are the Journal of Biological Chemistry, Journal of General Physiology, Journal of Microbiology, Journal of Molecular Biology and Biophysics, etc. Although these publications rarely contain papers on specifically medical topics, clinical investigators read the journals to learn about the biochemical, physiologic, microbial, or molecular advances that augment basic medical knowledge and that provide better basic methods for application in biomedical research.
