Research on technologies and methods of intelligent boiler CAD

The issue of boiler scheme design from the methodological view was described and the boiler scheme design process was divided into four sub-activities,i.e., scheme construction,scheme analysis,scheme evaluation,and scheme adjustment. The object-oriented knowledge representation method was used to construct the design object model of boiler intelligent computer-aided design(CAD) system,composed of attribute space,relationship space,rule space,constraint space,case space,and method space,and the intelligent boiler CAD process was explained by means of this model.A general technical approach to the intelligent boiler CAD was proposed,intelligently constructing the scheme based on case knowledge,intelligently analyzing the scheme based on definite method knowledge,intelligently evaluating the scheme based on constraint knowledge,and intelligently adjusting the scheme based on rule knowledge.The main framework prototype of this intelligent boiler CAD system was developed and part of its function has been applied to engineering practices.It turned out that the above technologies and methods fit the practical requirement and can support the development of intelligent boiler CAD system effectively.
