Proceedings of the 2012 ACM Research in Applied Computation Symposium

With the expansion of both the Internet and the advanced information technology development profession, applied computing is of growing interest in both academia and industry. To cope with this important problem, the Research in Applied Computation Symposium (RACS) provides a forum for exchanging highly original ideas about applied computing systems. The RACS aims primarily at researchers who have experience in applied computing systems and are engaged in the design and implementation of new computing applications. Each year RACS brings together engineers and scientists from diverse communities with interests in practical applied computing technologies and creates an environment for them to discuss and report experimental results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experiences, case studies, and trend-setting ideas.
