Distributed Generators Planning Considering Benefits for Distribution Power Company and Independent Power Suppliers

By referring to the influence of integration of distributed generators(DGs) on distribution networks, candidate solutions for DGs are given by analyzing the power loss, voltage distribution, and customer reliability demand. To balance the benefits between independent power suppliers(IPSs) and power distribution companies(PDCs),a multi-objective planning model is developed that takes both maximum DGs unit cost rate and maximum benefits from the improved grid into account. The model proposed involves cost and benefit, environment improvement, network loss, voltage quality, reliability, delayed network renewal etc.Based on the non-inferior sorting genetic algorithm, the solving method uses the segment chromosome operations to realize simultaneous optimization between type, site and size. The simulation results of an IEEE 69-bus system show that the method proposed is fast, reliable and effective in the determination of the location and capacity of DGs as well as the benefits balance between IPS with DGs and PDC.
