ABSTRACT The critical chain algorithm, developed by Goldratt, is different from the traditional project management method like PERT. The main difference between the two approaches mentioned above is the former consider the projector psychology factor, but the latter doesn't. Since the critical chain algorithm has covered the projector psychology factor, the project management is improved. This research based on the basis of fuzzy theory and a fuzzy-critical-chain-based project algorithm is modeled. This algorithm modeled by this research is for single project case. The determination of buffer time in critical chain was improved in order to obtain a reasonable feeding buffer and project buffer. An example was selected to illustration and to enhance practical application. Finally, a quantitative comparison among fuzzy PERT, critical chain, and fuzzy critical chain is done.
