FDTD Implementation of Resistive Coupling at MTL Termination Networks

The ever growing complexity of electronic circuits placed at the ends of multiconductor transmission line models requires also taking into account the electrical coupling among all ports of their equivalent termination networks. This work develops an explicit finite difference time-domain scheme that takes into account a lumped resistive coupling among the N ports of a general termination network. The developed vector time-domain equations are validated comparing the results with those obtained by a commercial tool.
