A possible influence of the density of ice accretions on their heat transfer coefficient

The heat transfer coefficient of ice accretions was reported by Avila and co-workers who found that it depends on the cloud droplet spectrum used for the accretion. In the present work, these data are re-examined and a new parametrization of the heat transfer coefficient is proposed as a function of accreted-ice density.
