Small Sample Approach for Reliability Evaluation of Commercial Aircrafts

The reliability evaluation of commercial aircrafts and their subsystems,especially of the novel commercial aircrafts and their subsystems,is a small sample statistics problem,which is an interesting and important research focus today.In this paper,the fault characteristics of the commercial aircrafts are analyzed.The small sample approach for reliability evaluation is developed based on three-parameter Weibull.The parameters are obtained by the grey theory.Finally,an example is employed to verify the accuracy and applicability of this approach.
