Extending an emergent framework to other contexts

Abstract In this up-date, we look at the way we responded to language learning needs in a development project in Thailand. We describe how the language program that emerged became a critical episode that has subsequently informed our respective work in various professional contexts. It has also become a basis for talking about approach and practice.
