Numerical study for a class of singular two-point boundary value problems using Green's functions

In this paper,we present a numerical method based on a non-uniform mesh for a class of singular two-point boundary value problems. Green's function of the singular boundary value problem is used to derive an equivalent integral equation which is then solved by interpolation with quadratic polynomials. It is shown to be third-order convergent. Numerical results are presented which are in agreement with the theoretical error bound.
