Method of allocating a frequency band to a random access channel and transmitting/receiving signals via the random access channel in an sc-fdma system, and signal detecting device

A method for allocating a frequency band to an RACH(Random Access CHannel) in an SC-FDMA(Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access) system, a method for transmitting and receiving signals on the RACH, and an apparatus for detecting signals are provided to present a code sequence to enhance a cross correlation characteristic and a PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) characteristic using preamble information on an RACH and to optimize frequency bands and time domains according to flexible delay time. In an SC-FDMA system, which comprises a plurality of mobile stations and at least one base station to establish wireless communication with the mobile stations, the first mobile station transmits the first signal through the first RACH. The second mobile station transmits the second signal through the second RACH. The base station, receiving the first and second signals, allocates frequency bands, which are adjacent to each other, to the first and second RACHs respectively. The first and second signals, transmitted from the first and second mobile stations, respectively comprise preamble codes and messages.
