The reverse order of grey incidence analysis and two judgment principles

One of the most important steps in grey incidence analysis is to process the mapping quantity and the effective correlation factors by incidence operators. However, when they are processed by different incidence operators, the inverse order problem always arises. In this paper, based on the introduction of several grey incidence operators, we propose the principles and methods for appropriate determination of grey incidence order. Applying it to a real problem, we demonstrate that a reverse order problem happens, and investigate the influences by the difference between incidence operators on the incidence order. Meanwhile, we demonstrate that a good performance and effectiveness is achieved by the proposed principles and methods.
