Record Spectral Efficient Transmission of 11.24 Bit/s/Hz/mode over 30 km Few-Mode Fiber

We demonstrate the transmission of 21 x 3-mode, PDM-256-QAM spatial super channels, over 30 km few-mode fiber. The transmission results in a record per-mode spectral efficiency of 11.24 Bit/s/Hz/mode.
