The design of image rejection mixer in W-band

In order to meet the needs of the anti-interference, radar transceiver and the other fields. In this paper, we present a high performance MMIC single-balance mixer and a 3dB orthogonal bridge in W-band. They are used to design an image rejection mixer in my work. This image rejection mixer is made up of two single-balance mixer units. RF signal and image signal can be divided by the use of 3dB orthogonal bridge. The two outputs signal of the two single-balance mixer are orthogonal, then combine them. The 3dB orthogonal bridge structure is used to add the isolation of the LO and RF ports. When LO and RF are 94GHz and 91.5GHz, we test the conversion loss is about 15dB and image rejection is about 20dB.
