The Psysical Properties of the Swimbladders of Fish Other Than Cypriniformes

1. No excess internal pressure, such as has been found in the Cypriniformes, could be detected in the swimbladders of seventeen species from other orders. The swimbladder wall in these fish exercises no appreciable constraint on chnges of buoyancy with depth. 2. Determinations of sinking factor and swimbladder volume are reported.
