The discussion and analysis of network transmission for real-data from substation

With the development of automation technology, remote real-time data from substation has extended from the 4 basic type to semi real-time data, which include energy data and fault wave recording information from relay protection. The number of remote main stations that need real-time data is also increasing, which now include main station for dispatching(SCADA), control center system, automation system for distribution, and etc. This article aims to solve the problem of increasing need of real-time data from various kind of main stations, we propose the network transmission mode connecting substation real-time systems and main station systems, its characteristics and advantages are analyzed, its necessity is discussed, this new transmission pattern has been applied in our regional dispatching center, its feasibility has been proved.
