도시노인 1인가구를 위한 시니어 쉐어하우스 탐색 연구

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of introducing the Senior Share House as a residential alternative for the aged living alone in the urban area. The face-to-face interview survey was conducted targeting single aged over 60 years or older. It was investigated their current housing and living conditions including overall opinions of senior share house(needs, attitude to move, planning requirements and preferences etc.). The key findings of this study are as follows: 1) 85% of seniors participated in this study responded the senior share house was needed. 2) The aged living alone preferred continuing to live at the place they had lived. They wanted to live near medical facilities and the amenities. 3) Single seniors wanted private bedrooms and baths but responded they could share baths. 4) Professional workers are needed to identify the various characteristics and needs of the single aged and respond to their residential demands.
