Patterns of Utilisation of the Clinical Information Access Program (CIAP) by Clinicians in NSW: An Analysis of Web Server Logs

The Clinical Information Access Program (CIAP) provides NSW clinicians with access to clinical evidence at the point-of-care. This paper reports the results of the first stage of a web-log analysis to examine the patterns of use of bibliographic resource databases available via CIAP. The results form the basis of further evaluation studies being undertaken to investigate how CIAP is being integrated into clinical practice in NSW and the impact on decision making processes and patient care.
