MONTE-CARLO SIMULATION OF RELIABILITY EVALUATION FOR COMPOSITE GENERATION AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

A composite generation and transmission system is such a power system which consists of generators, transformers, buses, circuit breakers, protective relaying, auto reclosure and transmission lines. In this paper the judgment of system failure mode and the definitions of risk indices, the mathematical model of sub systems and the implementation of algorithms are discussed. The results of example calculation show that this method is correct and feasible.
