New Audio Hiding Information Method Resistant to Desynchronization

The secrecy speech communication method resisting to desynchronization attacks is presented based on information hiding technology. The secret speech is coded by G.729 algorithm, and the synchronization within frame is ensured by the frame-independence characteristic of the codec. The coded bit stream is hided in the DWT (discrete wavelet transform) domain of the host audio by quantification method. The usefulness of PN sequence enhances the security. The blind recovery of the speech information is realized under guaranteeing that a larger capacity. Experimental results show that the performance of the method is ideal under various audio operations (noisy, MP3 compression, resampling, crop-cutting), especially, robust to crop-cutting attacks.
