Basic solutions and a ‘simplex’ method for a class of continuous linear programs

A continuous linear program is an optimal control problem which can be posed as a linear program on a space of functions. In this paper a special class of such problems is discussed. A member of this class is called a separated continuous linear program (SCLP). Such problems occur in continuous models of production scheduling/inventory control.
