A new method for cell ID assignment for Distance based location management in cellular communication systems

The main problem in distance based location management method in mobile communication systems, is calculating the cellular distance by mobile subscribers. Mobile subscribers get information of cells from base transceiver stations. It's clear that we must choose a special cell ED assignment scheme and an algorithm to calculate cellular distance between cells by using their IDs. In all researches that I found, there was a regular geometric area of cells which had been coded by various algorithms. For example one cell in center of area is assigned with a primary ID and the neighbor cells are assigned in circular rings after it. So if we want to apply this scheme in a practical network, we don't have this area as they supposed. So we must to simulate and estimate it on a sheet of a paper and do cell ID assignment cell by cell. But we know that the actual size of cells and the shapes of them are different from that area we imagine and simulate. So this item is one of the disadvantages of those researches. Another problem appears when we want to add one cell or more to our network so we have to change all of cell IDs and arrange them again. In this paper I have suggested a new method for cell ID assignment according to real geography location of cells in a practical network.
