Maximum power point tracking control of brushless doubly-fed wind power generator with open winding fed by dual two-level inverters

In this paper, a novel control strategy of maximum power point tracking with variable speed constant frequency is proposed, which the control winding of brushless doubly-fed wind generator is opened, and fed with dual two-level inverters, the principle of open winding strategy is analyzed, and then the redundancy and fault tolerance of proposed system are improved. The zero common mode voltage switch strategy of dual two-level inverters SVPWM coordination control is designed. Based on the MATLAB/SIMULINK platform, the system simulation model of proposed control strategy is built and researched, and then the correctness and effectiveness of the novel control strategy are confirmed by the results.
