Cloud computing as a new approach for simulations of the pierre auger surface detector without a local powerful calculation infrastructure

Creating new software that will enhance Pierre Auger Observatory surface detectors need special testing data, that can be obtained by complex and time consuming simulations. Many science teams, that are part of the Pierre Auger Collaboration, access to huge processing power is limited, but they can use other means to obtain it. Cloud computing is a tool, that can be used to prepare necessary data to test the newly developed trigger with power of on-demand server farm. By preparing an optimal configuration of these resources, speed of the calculation can be increased and costs lowered.
