The Technology Research on Embedded 2D Map Display Based on Windows CE

The development of 2D Map Display from PC Platform to PDA is a breakthrough to the pluralization and cross platform of GIS.Through the research of embeded system,this paper develops a 2D Map Display Application System in Windows CE Platform.In this way,it conquers the limit of PDA's hardware.Besides,it realizes the quick display of 2D Map in PDA Client and makes a deep research of some critical technologies.
