Psychological Customization of Information - Basic Concepts, System Architecture and Applications

Information presented via communications technologies and media may be customized on the basis of the immediate emotional and cognitive psychological effects it is likely to facilitate. Both content and its way of presentation (modality, visual layouts, ways of interaction, structure) may be varied. Empirical evidence suggests that the way of presenting information to certain psychological profiles of users (personality, cognitive style, other) has predictable psychological effects. This is the basic concept of Mind-Based Technologies. Psychological Customization is a technique of implementing this concept in system design.
