Influence on classification and probability of misclassification

The influence of an observation in multiple-group discriminant analysis is investi gated through the estimates on misclassification probabilities under two different classification rules that are obtained using the full sample and the sample without the observation. A fixed underlying multinomial distribution is taken for evaluating the estimates. Influence on misclassification prob ability estimates for individual groups is also considered.
