Dynamic distributed spectrum allocation in GMPLS-controlled elastic optical networks

We propose and experimentally evaluate a distributed spectrum assignment approach for GMPLS-controlled elastic networks based on collecting the frequency slot availability information during the signaling phase and performing efficient spectrum allocation at the destination node.
