Failure location in transport networks——dividing layer methods

A new failure location method for telecommunications is proposed in this paper.The method craves up complex failure location into some sub-questions by dealing with alarm signals in respective layers,and makes these questions simple by adopting logic analysis and conclusion methods.In addition,the new method support function which include deleting and adding location principle in respective layers for network operator,and it is flexible and well applicability.The method has been applied for patent and has been used in existed networks.
