Psychophysical explorations of mental structures

The contributions of more than 30 authors from Europe and North America give an overview of the inspiring influence exerted by psychophysics on the methods, theories and applications in the entire field of psychology. Part of this book deals with the foundations of judgment and decision making in perceptual behaviour, complex and categorical perception, and the formation of social attitudes. Other contributions concentrate on problems of measurement and scaling, psychophysical aspects of time and structure, and the relationship between subjective experience and physiological states and processes.
