An Adaptive MAC Protocol for Broadband Distributed Parallel Ad hoc Networks

The distributed parallel(DP)server has high integrated performance. The Ad hoc networks which configure the DP servers will show the better service performance. However, the wireless system is a bands limited system,so,the channels allocation algorithm will straight affect the performance of the distributed parallel Ad hoc network. An adaptive MAC protocol for the distributed parallel Ad hoc network is presented in this paper, that is Distributed Parallel Access Control Protocol(DPACP)based on the nodes status. DPACP serves differently for varied nodes or packets with mixed rules. The simulation results indicate that DPACP can meet the demand of the performance asked by the varied PRI data packets, and also shows that it can fit for the varied integrated services system, and the stability is enhanced. So,DPACP is an adaptive protocol for the distributed parallel Ad hoc service and subscriber networks.
