Peer-to-peer supercomputing: de-centalized data tracking and processing

This project focuses on several workflow optimizations, as well as a message delivery system guaranteeing transactional message delivery with persistence and in-order server-side handling for Copernicus, an application for parallel adaptive molecular dynamics developed by the department of Theoretical Physics at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 2011. We introduce and briefly explain the Copernicus workflow and show how the optimizations increase performance. We also conclude that the message delivery system performs with a negligible overhead in worst-case scenarios.
