Flexible, aligned carbon nanotube/conducting polymer electrodes for a lithium-ion battery

We present here an approach for preparing a nanostructured “free-standing” ACNT/PEDOT/PVDF membrane electrode that is lightweight, flexible, highly electroactive and conductive, and mechanically robust. It could be directly and easily fabricated into a rechargeable lithium-ion battery as the anode material without using a metal substrate or binder.
