UKM GNSS data management framework using client site data processing techniques

Increasing space weather research need in equatorial region has brought the space weather related data observation to both research and public interest. Global Positioning System (GPS) found in a cost effective and technically easily manageable device that's able to capture space weather information from the orbiting satellites. Even though the data capturing has been resolved the data centralization is being a challenge due to the large data set and limited communication bandwidth in the remote locations A collaborative data management model has been proposed through client site data processing framework to address the near real time data ability requirement. The proposed method able to reduce data size from 380MB to 3.8MB which will ease the data transfer process. Near real-time centralized data availability will be a great encouragement to both researchers and academicians in embarking towards larger researchers.
