Response Latency: A New Measure for Scaling Brand Preference

A scaling model is presented to estimate brand preference structures by use of response latency or choice time measures. The structure of the model and the predictive validity of the preference scales estimated by this model are tested in the context of a computer-controlled pairwise choice experiment.
