Integration for Training Transfer: Learning, Knowledge, Organizational Culture, and Technology

The primary purpose of this chapter is to provide the integrative perspective of linkage between individuals’ learning and continuous performance improvement within workplace organizations. From a thorough review of related literature, we provide an analysis of the theories and practices of learning, knowledge management, organizational learning, learning organization culture, and technological systems and tools for effective training transfer. We also propose an approach for effective training transfer process through the integration of training transfer management, knowledge management systems, organizational learning practices utilizing modern technological systems and tools.
