Note on mass transfer at gas sparged electrodes

Abstract Mass transfer at vertical plates with gas sparging obeys formally the same correlation as mass transfer in turbulent natural convenction due to concentration or temperature differences. A model is presented which allows a theoretical interpretation of this result.
